Tech minnow Mobile Streams appoints chairman with FTSE 100 oil experience


Bob Moore was with Enterprise Oil until its acquisition and then went on to set up his own independent E&P firm

() (), the £5mln content and data minnow, has appointed a new chairman with FTSE 100 oil experience.

Bob Moore was head of legal affairs at Enterprise Oil until its sale to Shell () in 2002.

After that, the qualified barrister then went on to co-found North Sea operator Granby Oil & Gas and has since founded and managed engineering and energy businesses.

His appointment was announced alongside that of Rama Uthayanan as finance director. Uthayanan currently fulfils the number-crunching role at Krunchdata, the company’s subsidiary.

Current chairman, Charles Goodfellow, is stepping back to become an independent director.
